I would have to say that - despite some high scores given to some of the contestants - overall, I thought last night's performances were pretty average. I'm going to predict that the bottom two will be Clyde Drexler & Leeza Gibbons.
I don't think the public's votes will save Clyde from the red lights...and Leeza seems to be going unnoticed by the public next to some of the other higher profile participants.

And the latest exit comes from.... Leeza (surprise surprise). She gave it her best shot but unfortunately her moves proved to be too wooden in the face of better competition. John Ratzenberger also ended up under the red lights. Clyde is definitely being saved by sports fans (and rebels), however I don't think his performance was near as bad as the judges said. But these two guys will be fighting to stay out of the red lights next week. Another one who needs to watch things is Laila Ali, who has quickly fallen from the great performance she gave on episode one. If I read between the lines correctly, I would swear she and her partner do not like each other at all!!
Anyway, kind of a transitional week, next week hopefully will be more interesting.

I really really like Leeza too, but she was stiff this week, I was worried that she'd be voted off. But, she is a good sport and looks fabulous at 50!

Wow, surprised Heather Mills made bottom 2 so quick. They normally lover her!

Clyde Drexler made his exit last night after a pretty poor showing on Monday night. John beat Heather out of the red lights. Next week should be interesting as there is a group dance scheduled - swing is the style, so they have to be on their toes! We'll see if John and Billy Ray can keep up - both guys continue to give it their best shot. I think the best performances on Monday were slightly overrated, I think we'll still see better in the coming weeks.

Well, my original predictions haven't been too far off. Good for me. And, it seems Heather is wearing out her welcome, after that Bottom 2 showing, so her time could be up soon.

Indeed Heather Mills did make her exit this week, with her and John Ratzenberger in the bottom two. There was an exceptional performance from Apolo and Julianne (who scored the same as a lesser one by Laila and Maks, go figure), and the judges really battered Ian, despite what I thought was a personal best this week. It's getting a little more interesting now. I think John will be out next, and then the competition will really take off.

It was time to say goodbye to John, after a true personal best effort last night. Billy Ray made it to the bottom two and is continually surprised that he is staying - but both the judges and fans like him because of his perseverance. Laila and Joey led the way this week, and the judges turned their heads to Apolo and gave Ian his best scores of the show.

From what I've been seeing, we may see an Apolo/Joey finale.

With John leaving this week, my predictions continue to be correct, as the country vote is continually pushing Billy Ray through the competition.
However, now that we're down to 5, he SHOULD be the next to go, unless Ian delivers a sub-par performance (he seems to be the weakest of the other 4), or if Joey's fans start taking him for granted, and forget to vote.
5. Billy Ray 4. Ian 3. Joey 2. Laila 1. Apolo

Well to no one's surprise, Billy Ray finished up tonight. However Joey was also in the bottom two, so the fans of the other stars are definitely speaking up. Based on Apolo's performances this past week, it is definitely his show to lose... though many thought Mario Lopez would win right down to the wire and he didn't.

Based on Apolo's performances this past week, it is definitely his show to lose... though many thought Mario Lopez would win right down to the wire and he didn't. Mario Lopez came across as cocky, though, and I think that's what turned off voters. His attitide (combined with that of his partner) sure didn't make me get up and place a winning vote. Apolo, on the other hand, seems to have remained humble throughout the whole contest. That's one area that Laila may have an issue in, especially after a few of her comments during the results show this week. So, it was Billy Ray and Joey in the bottom 2 (didn't I call that last week). But here's where it gets hard. I think Joey's fans will be motivated by his bottom 2 showing this week that he'll be safe next week, along with Apolo, and Laila and Ian will be in the bottom 2, with 2-time champ Cheryl leaving along with her star.

I agree with Dan's prediction. Although Ian & Cheryl have performed well throughout the competition, they have failed to "WOW" the judges on a consistent basis. Barring a major misstep by one of the other stars next week, I think they'll be the ones to go.
The Top 3 is more of a tricky situation, because all Apolo, Laila, & Joey all seem to be equally worthy of being the Top 2. I think it'll come down to which "fan base" wants it more for their star.

Well we'll see if Joey holds out and if Ian goes. I definitely think Joey's a better dancer but I think Ian got shafted by the judges a couple of times for performances that were better than what they said they were. And Dan, you said ultimately that Ian and Billy Ray would be in the bottom two, not Joey. Though you did say Joey was a possibility.
