Have you ever had a song come out which reaches #1 on your personal chart, and that artist never makes another entry on your chart? In other words, what "one-hit wonders" reached #1?
This has happened six times on QNX:
Ini Kamoze - "Here Comes The Hotstepper" (12/24/94) Dionne Farris - "I Know" (3/11/95) Joan Osborne - "One Of Us" (3/2/96) Tony Rich Project - "Nobody Knows" (3/16/96) Los Del Rio - "Macarena" (7/13/96) Ruff Endz - "No More" (11/18/00)

This doesn't happen often on MT40 but it happened last year and thus far they haven't charted again: Frou Frou - Let Go (#1 for 4 weeks)
k, in a quick overview, that was the only time it has happened ever. And Imogen Heap has made the chart twice since so it prolly doesn't even count!

oops! I was thinking of #1s by artists who had only one single. Hmmm, I'll have to go back and look at my list again as I'm sure somewhere along the way someone hit #1 with a song and didn't chart since...?!

No, you had it right the first time! ;D To clarify things: I am referring to artists who have had only one appearance on your chart, which was a single that went all the way to #1. That is, their ONLY hit was a #1 hit.

Shawn Mullins - Lullaby He charted again, earlier this year. Sisqo - The Thong Song Crazy Town - Butterfly And for the others, Sisqo charted in Dru Hill and Shifty charted away from Crazy Town. So I don't think I have any real one-hit wonders that hit #1 :
