Sometimes there isn't much to distinguish a "remake" from a "heavy sampling" of the original. In this case, if the title is different, and new lyrics are included, I'm not considering it a remake. Therefore, "Bad Things", a #1 of mine from 2017, will be excluded (it is considered to "sample" Fastball rather than "remake" Out Of My Head). Likewise, "Angel Eyes" by Play-N-Skillz, a #4 of mine from 2009, is considered to "sample" Kim Carnes and not "remake" Bette Davis Eyes. "Remakes" can include the addition of letters or numbers, or removal of a word, from the title, as well as removal of a portion of the original lyrics.
