Wghat if Ezula or that TopText thingy isn't on the install/uninstall thingy. Look for it with Windows Explorer in the "Program Files" directory.

Not listed there. Searched for it, not found anywhere on my computer.

Look for it here... In Internet Explorer, go to "Tools / Internet Options... / "
"General / Settings / View Objects " (Delete it if it is in here.)
and then,
"Programs / Manage Add-ons / " (Disable ezula, if it is in here.)

Delete these files from your hard drive using Windows Explorer.
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\InstallCtrl.class C:\WINDOWS\eZulains.exe C:\WINDOWS\APPLOG\ezulains.lgc
(you may have to make hidden files viewable in your Windows Explorer settings.)

Search for these files. Delete them. (Start/Search/ **all files and folders;include hidden files**)
"mmod.exe", "eZstub.exe", "eZuluMain.exe", "eZmmod.exe", "ezulaboot.dll", "ezulaboot.inf"
(searches are case sensitive: uppercase letters must be typed in uppercase, etc...)

Nope, Ezula isn't listed in the
"General / Settings / View Objects " (Delete it if it is in here.)
Place.
I'm searching for the other files though.

There are also a couple registry keys that should be deleted as well. I don't know how familiar you are with editing the registry. I can either post the instructions here (with example screenshots) or I can try to walk you through it on IM... whichever you prefer. But, delete those files first.

If it won't let you delete the files after you find them, you may have to remove them from memory first using the Windows Task Manager (Start / Run / Type in "taskmgr" / OK / Processes). If you find any of the spyware programs that you are searching for (any of these -- "mmod", "eZstub", "eZuluMain", "eZmmod", "ezulaboot") currently running it memory then, left click to highlight it & then click end process. After that, you should be able to delete the file from your hard drive.

I'll try to take screenshots tomorrow. What should I take screenshots of? You can do that if you like. What I meant was that I would post screen shots that will show you how to delete eZula from the registry. Have you found and deleted those files yet?

I couldn't find any of those files? Are you sure it's Ezula? That's so weird. Are u sure that eZula is the only spyware on ur comp right now? Sounds to me like u have a ton of problems on ur comp. U might be better off just reloading the whole system and starting from scratch.
