*sigh* if a song is supposedly "good" without an artist, then how can one guy make it that different... honestly, if you guys can't f*ckin' stand Lil' Jon, then don't f*ckin' listen to him, simple as that! i'll never understand that, i don't need to do edits, i don't need to say how one song that sounds like damn carbon copy of another is so much better just because of one rapper... like gimme a freakin' break! Either listen to it and keep it the way it is, or don't freakin' bother, it's freakin' annoying!
besides, he's not screaming in here, so what the hell is your problem? I'm not gonna bother downloading the "magic" edit, the song on it's own is kinda boring, but by the end of it i enjoyed it, it's a play it, but barely.. Usher needs to relax.

In defense of Adam, radio stations have been editing artists out of songs for years to make the song sound more listenable. If people like the song better without him, I say go for it.

Half of me agrees with Ben, half of me agrees with Michael... Anyway, trash it!

I know perfectly well that radio stations played edited versions of songs. I mean, here in Kelowna, we play a version of "Car Wash" without Missy Elliott. The only thing that bothers me about Adam's edit is that he cut out the main artist. It's difficult to deal with an edit when you're left with the song "Lovers & Friends" by f/ Usher & Ludacris.

I never heard the song so I don't know exactly how bad it is but I was over on Pulse and they were talking about how much Lil'Jon ruined the song as well.

Songs are edited all the time. Heck, I edit songs too! That's the price for success, Baby!

Songs are edited all the time. Heck, I edit songs too! That's the price for success, Baby! editing out the artist that made the song is one thing, editing out some words or some fluffy shit is another... when you always edit out the same artist, the joke gets old real fast. Congratulations... you've found the immunity challengeHere's what you'll have to do: Each of these clues will lead you to a number somewhere on the board. You'll need to use these numbers. You'll simply use these numbers to complete the mathimatical equation... how fun, huh? Multiplication, division, subtraction, and addition. Here's hoping y'all have a calculator! The first person to send me a correct answer will win immunity and secure themselves a spot in the final 4. This is your equation: 1) Start with the number of positions on Bryan A's personal weekly chart2) Multiply that number by the number of active members who replied in the Dan's Fan Club thread3) Subtract from that the number the peak position of D12's "My Band" on Wallace's chart4) Divide that number by the round Adam left the third song contest5) Subtract from that number the number of letters in the first #1 on the GlobalChart after the M4B and ChartsCentral communities merged6) Add to that number the position Ben (merg) ranked on the September 3, 2003 M4B Users Chart.7) Multiply that number by the date in May of 2004 that a news story concerning Toby Keith's Entertainer Of The Year win at the Academy of Country Music Awards was posted8) Subtract from that the number of people who voted in the first round of the Cover Art Contest9) Divide that number by the number of voters who replied "YES" to the "Are The Neptunes Overrated" poll10) Add to that number the peak position of Tyler Hilton's "When It Comes" on Dan's Top 2011) Add to that number the number of professional produced Variety 104 station IDs Adam suggested12) Divide that number by the peak position of Christina Aguilera's "The Voice Within" on wojteks’s chart13) Subtract from that number the number of replies to the Santana/Rob Thomas "Smooth" post14) Subtract from that number the number of M4BCC posters with over 5,000 posts15) Subtract from THAT the peak position of "Shake Ya Tailfeather" by Nelly, P. Diddy & Murphy Lee on the M4B/GlobalChart16) Divide that number by the number of voters in the Simpson Sisters First Single poll17) TAKE THAT FINAL NUMBER AND PRIVATE MESSAGE ME YOUR ANSWERIf you have any questions, feel free to private message me. I'll respond as soon as I can. Good luck.

Like you said yourself, you don't have to listen to it. If they play the song on VFM, you can turn it off. No one is forcing you to listen to the Lil'Jon-less edit of the song!

So you hate mainstream because it's "mainstream"? Those are the types of people that annoy me. If something is good but then it suddenly goes "mainstream", it's magically not good anymore. I don't listen to VFM because it's too unorganized for my tastes. I'm sure it's a good station for people who like it but I'm also not a fan of most of the music they play. Not because it's mainstream though. A lot of it isn't even on the pop charts, as far as I know.
